Brend, i have 4 now. But it really depends on how you trade and what you trade. I dont think its neccesary if ones approach is position or swing trading. No need to envy. But its cool nonetheless. lol

You have 3 monitors, wow, that is a luxury way to trade.
I also envy people who have more than 1 monitor at home.
But I ask myself if it is necessary.

Gav, so far Oanda still has the better structure in terms of transaction costs…IB is a close second, with other tools besides. MBT has some issues and has received some pretty bad reviews. They don’t offer a universal account like IB, and their rollovers are horrible. In fact, they are prohibitive for longer term trades. Whereas Oanda’s platform is more like a bad cartoon, IB’s platform seems like a demon from hell. I might just quit my job and try to go pro to spite them all. (Okay, nobody in their right mind would never hire me anyway — they have too many young punks to choose from.)

I’m trying to get IB to agree to give me a three month demo so that I can really get to know the ins and outs. Haven’t had a reply, however. I can’t really make a good decision until I see what it’s like to trade with IB day in and day out. I’ll just trade with IB alongside Oanda and see what happens. (Although, admittedly, it’s difficult when one is live and one is a demo.) I can’t take the TradeStation FX outfit seriously, so that’s a no-go.

All in all, I spoke too soon about Oanda. They aren’t all that bad when everything is accounted for. I just get mad sometimes.

Ish. Just kill me now.

@ Gav : lol sry about that, this one will stay much longer guaranteed. I havent taken a look at their fx offerings. I feel that Oanda still has the best rates but i am not comfortable with their platform and orders schematics. AMP clears through Dorman if you use ninjatrader and zen-fire feeds. Sg is a beautiful as ever. Loving life here.
